Ministarka Tatjana Macura, zadužena za rodnu ravnopravnost, optužila je danas vlast u Prištini za institucionalnu represiju nad srpskim narodom i pokušaje da se izbriše njegovo postojanje.

Navodeći da podaci Ujedinjenih nacija ukazuju da 72,4 odsto Srba oseća strah dok šeta ulicama svojih gradova i sela na Kosovu i Metohiji, Tatjana Macura dodala je u pisanoj izjavi da su Srbi "šikanirani, hapšeni bez razloga, osporavano im je pravo na izražavanje izborne volje, proterivani sa svojih radnih mesta, deca ostaju bez osnovnog prava na obrazovanje i zdravstvenu zaštitu".

"Samo u poslednjih godinu dana broj učenika u osnovnim školama na severu Kosova opao je za 2 odsto, u srednjim školama za 4 odsto, dok je broj rođenih u porodilištu u Kosovskoj Mitrovici smanjen za trećinu", navela je ona i dodala da je "još sramnija odluka privremenih prištinskih vlasti da uskraćuju socijalnu pomoć korisnicima centara za socijalni rad, među kojima su većinom starije osobe i deca".

Prema rečima ministarke, taj potez jasno pokazuje nameru da se Srbi, posebno oni najugroženiji, dovedu u situaciju u kojoj više ne mogu da ostanu na svojoj zemlji.

"Inspirisani istorijskom težnjom za slobodom i ravnopravnošću pred zakonom, nećemo odustati od pravedne  borbe za osnovna prava svih naših građana", navela je ona i pozvala međunarodne institucije da "ne okreću glavu pred nepravdom".
